The Scoop
Oregon Sunstone Investing
Is the Oregon Sunstone a good investment? We believe the answer is very much on the positive side, and we say that for some brief, but important reasons. Recently I got an interest statement from my local bank on a C.D. The interest for a year was $8.93. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but one thing was obvious. Putting money in the bank in order to get a decent return is currently impossible, but there is always the stock market and what a stable place that has been for the small investor in the last few years. Risky and very dangerous. In other words if you have a little money where can you invest in hopes of one day making more than a few dollars on your money? Ths brings us to the Oregon Sunstone. Why would a gem from a remote region in Eastern Oregon be a good investment? We think the answers are fairly simple. First of all the gem is not a diamond, a ruby, a sapphire, or an emerald, all of which are world famous and in their premium colors, and cuts sell for thousands per carat, so gems of this nature are out of the financial reach of the average person. Diamonds are controlled by extremely rich people. That is just a fact. Secondly, when you actually view an Oregon Sunstone you quickly will realize that it is one of the most beautiful gems that you have ever seen. They are copper bearing gems that produce an explosion of colors that literally is breathtaking. These gems take a back seat to no other including the more famous gems previously mentioned. Thirdly, the Oregon Sunstone in it's premium colors are a fraction of the cost of a diamond, a ruby, a sapphire or an emerald, so they can be purchased relatively inexpensively. This sets the stage for a good investment with the potential for an excellent return. Why?
To answer the last question we want to make a couple of points. The Oregon Sunstone is a 100% Natural, Copper Bearing, untreated, non-enhanced natural gem. There is nothing that has been done to these gems to enhance their appearance in any way. Today the world is awash with fake, or altered gems. It is really difficult to know what you are buying unless you locate a reputable dealer with a long history of honesty and full disclosure. Therefore we believe that the Oregon Sunstone not only is emerging, but will continue to emerge, and one day be a super star of gems, because they are totally natural, and it doesn't hurt that they are a gem from the USA. Now is that a guarantee? Absolutely not, but is the future for the Oregon Sunstone bright? We believe the answer is a definite yes. If we didn't believe tha to be true then we would never have invested ourselves in these gorgeous gems. Therefore we are not suggesting that others do anything different than we have done ourselves. We believe in the Oregon Sunstone both for beauty as well as return on investment.
