The Oregon Sunstone is regarded by many as one of the top three most beautiful gems in the world. The soft ember orange-red glow is created by naturally occurring copper inside the gem. This is similar to the now extinct Paraiba Tourmaline from Brazil not to be confused with the African FAKES. This natural copper creates an explosion of color seldom seen in the gem world, and this particular Trillion gem is an outstanding example of it.
