This is a group of outstanding, and in many cases very rare, Oregon Sunstones. These gems are a mix of gems from the Double Eagle 13-Spectrum, the new Pana Mine, and the Cattle Guarder-Spectrum mines. Gem rough of this quality is seldom seen and is very difficult to obtain. Each of these sites, however, is now offering fee digging, so please feel free to contact us and we can direct you to their location. You will be able to see faceted results from these gems on our website. Please take a tour.

This is an 8.08 carat Oregon Red Orange Sunstone that is AAA quality. It came from the Double Eagle 13-Spectrum location and has been in our private collection for two years. It has never been show publically until now. Every dealer is proud of their gems, but this one is just about as good as it gets. It is 100% natural with no enhancement or treatment of any kind. Gems of this quality don't appear routinely, but on any venture to the Oregon high desert it is always a possibility. Pictures speak louder than words. This gem is mind boggling.

This is one of the two best heavily green Sunstones that we have ever seen. It is 16.65 Carats, and with no Sunstone like it with which to compare it's value is simply over the top. Our best guess would be in the range of $5,000.00, simply because it is rare, big, and extremely beautiful. There is a background hue of red in the gem, and it could be called a bi-color, but the Green is really dominant. This is a collector gem worthy of being in a museum of fine rare gems.

Our last featured item is this incredible 25.94 carat Oregon Opal. This gem is a stone that cannot, to the best of our knowledge, be mined in Oregon. The gem came from Opal Butte and it is not open to digging of any kind. If that changes, we will update our information, but it is not expected. This area was mined out years ago. The rough piece for this gem came from a private collection. It is flawless, stable, and a drop dead gorgeous Opal Gem. It doesn't get any better than this.
